I regularly visit schools, libraries and festivals to talk about my books and run creative writing workshops. Although I would never want to put an age label on what I write, THE WITNESS and THE RECKONING both have 18 year-old main characters, deal with serious issues in an uncompromising way, and contain some strong language.
As James Robertson, author of The Testament of Gideon Mack, said 'THE WITNESS is a really grown-up book for young adult readers.' In fact, it has many adult readers too.
